70,000 square foot corporate headquarters and data center for Michigan First Credit Union in Lathrup Village, Michigan. Occupancy November 2006. Michigan First Credit Union is the former Detroit School Teachers Credit Union and serves southeastern Michigan.
The facility consists of a three-story office tower, including the corporate data center. A one-story retail center is attached to the facility.
The systems in the building include variable air volume air distribution for the office tower, computer room units for the data center, 100% system backup generator – 1175 kW and multiple UPS systems. High efficiency lighting and lighting controls were utilized in the facility.
MA Engineering was retained to expand the headquarters from current 70,000 square feet to over 200,000 square feet.
