The firm traces its roots to Mancini, Alkateeb & Associates, Inc., a consulting engineering firm founded in 1988 by Peter Mancini and Joe Alkateeb. In 2006, after the retirement of Joe and Pete, the firm changed its name to MA Engineering, Inc. to reflect the new ownership while maintaining its connection to its founders.
MA Engineering has provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering services for a diversity of clients and projects for 30 years. Our commitment to quality services coupled with experience and accountability is the foundation of our organization.
In 2016, MAE acquired the MEP consulting firm EAM Engineers, Inc. The union of EAM and MAE expands our knowledge base and enhances the firm’s ability to deliver projects to our clients. Together, the MAE/EAM team now offers a combined 70 years of firm experience.
We have a current staff of 30 highly skilled professional engineers, designers and support staff. Our work varies in scope from consulting by single individuals to projects exceeding $60,000,000.
Under the MAE/EAM team leadership, we will continue to provide quality consulting and engineering services, emphasizing individualized customer service, excellence in engineering and value to our clients.
Skills
MA Engineering has developed a broad range of skills and services extending from the mechanical and electrical engineering base. MAE is knowledgeable on the latest codes, standards, energy saving techniques and sustainable design including LEED documentation. We utilize computer programs and the internet to assist in energy calculations and validation, HVAC load calculations, acoustic analysis, pressure calculations, lighting calculations and equipment selection. We understand each client is different, and provide an appropriate level of analysis for each project.
