Originally housed in one bay of the Westgate Shopping Center, the Ann Arbor Library decided to renovate and expand the existing space into two new adjacent tenant spaces. The expansion increased the library’s square footage by approximately 15,000 SF. The renovation and addition include two new entrances, a new information desk, new public restrooms, and a series of new spaces.
Mechanical Engineering services for this project include HVAC systems, plumbing systems and sprinkler system riser, and specifications.
Electrical Engineering services for this project include new electrical service and main power distribution, branch power distribution and circuits, interior lighting systems, emergency/exit lighting and required calculations, wiring devices and outlets, data outlets and conduit stubs, coordination of raceway and power requirements, and electrical services/connections to mechanical and building equipment.
